In a broader sense, Eight of Wands marks a transformation of our life force, a fiery jolt to a stagnant situation, allowing for movement once more. 

In her beautiful folklore inspired deck, Tarot of the Divine, artist Yoshi Yoshitani depicts this archetype as the mythical Rainbow Crow delivering fire from the heavens to a frozen landscape. It's a powerful image, similar to the archer of Sagittarius. But instead of a bow and arrow, the crow arrives with rainbow wings.

Ruled by Jupiter, the planet of wisdom and expansion, Sagittarius season enters with a blast of good feeling. The death cycle of Scorpio is over and it's time to revel in our renewal. These energies remind us that we can be both bold and light-hearted, that a touch of warmth can revive an entire eco-system. And that simply being here, with an open mind and a beating heart, is worth celebrating.
