Blindfolded person in polka dot attire holds crossed swords; night sky with crescent moon. Text reads "Two of Swords." Mystical vibe.
Rainbow Tarot by So Lazo

Greetings Friends,

Welcome to the soul party, where you are the guest of honor. So put on your finest attire, and your freshest face, as we enter into the sign of peace, beauty and equilibrium. Welcome to Libra Season.

The first decan of Libra relates to the Two of Swords in the tarot, a card symbolizing a moment to pause, look inward, and find inner peace around an external situation. I had the joy of doing a reading for a friend recently where this card was front and center.

In their signature colorful style, the artist So Lazo depicts this archetype in their Rainbow Tarot deck with levity and play, adorning her with polka dots and a party hat! This is a refreshing take on a card that often evokes stalemates and disconnection. But here, Two of Swords is dressed for fun, reminding us that putting up healthy boundaries and returning to the wisdom of one's heart can be a blast.

From the outside, the image may seem steely, but at her back is the power of the moon, the ocean and a flame-like tree. It is a magical backdrop, fit for a celestial reunion.

The imagery also evokes the message of Venus, Libra's ruler. That when the mind fails to find balance with the outside world, we can always return to the realm of feeling, the realm of the heart. It's here where we are welcomed with open arms to the party of our soul, the party of peace, where the good vibes never end. So when we are ready to drop our swords, take off our blindfold and return to our external surroundings, we will do so refreshed, revitalized and clear-eyed.

with love and equilibrium,

Lisa
