Eight of Pentacles & Virgo Season (August 2025)

Greetings Friends, 

Ready for some alone time? Ready to tune out the distractions and listen to the quiet voice from within? It's Virgo season and we are not meant to be disturbed. We have work to do. 

The first decan of Virgo relates to the Eight of Pentacles in the tarot, a card symbolizing a time of transformation through devoting oneself to their work, not as a form of self-sacrifice but as an act of service. 

I reference Megan Wyreweden's Anima Mundi Tarot often because the archetypes are so clearly reflected in the natural world. But also, because the art is so beautiful, and beauty is a hallmark of Virgo's craft. Above, we see two North America Beavers making a dam that will serve as both a lodge and food storage, as they prepare for the fall. While building a dam may not be a glamorous process, there is beauty in the commitment and result.

So let the energy of Eight of Pentacles inspire you this Virgo Season as you take stock of what is needed for the last months of the year. For some, this is a time of harvesting, for other's, it's a time of release. Either way, the season invites you to focus on what matters most and how to best build a life that nourishes and supports it. Sending you love, focus, devotion, and some goddamn peace and quiet.
